COMEDY
Intentionally humourous films

Many films made about Ed or using Ed's work have been comedies.

But several films that Ed worked on himself were meant to be funny.

All intentional comedies are listed below.

Barely Legal Lesbian Vampires
If the primary filmmaker is named 'Mr. Creepo', I hope it was meant to be a comedy.
Beach Blanket Bloodbath
Meant to be a parody of traditional 'beach' movies, I still think it's a good idea.
Ed Wood
A lighter take on the biopic genre from the writers of The People vs. Larry Flynt and Man on the Moon.
Ed Wood: Look Back in Angora
Much less serious than other documentaries, it's still quite informative.
The Interplanetary Surplus Male and Amazon Women of Outer Space
A send-up of low budget films and sci-fi in general.
It Came From Hollywood
A comedic look at old, bad movies.
The Love Feast
Adult film though it may be, Ed's part is largely comic relief.

And he's the lead.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 #320
The Unearthly

The first Ed-related episode of this comedy show that pokes fun at bad movies.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 #423
Bride of the Monster

A less successful episode of the classic comedy show.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 #610
The Violent Years

A quality episode.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 #613
The Sinister Urge

Perhaps the best of the MST3K episodes to use an Ed-related film.
Night of the Fools
Comedic look at the making of Plan 9 From Outer Space.
One Million AC/DC
This one's too goofy to have been meant to be serious.
Plan 69 From Outer Space
This adult film is a parody of Plan 9 From Outer Space and everything (except the sex) is played for laughs.
Plan 9.1 From Outer Space
Remake of Plan 9 From Outer Space using puppets.
Screwed
This film written and directed by the guys who wrote Ed Wood was their attempt at a straightforward comedy.

The result were mixed. (At best. -ed.)
Shotgun Wedding
Hillbilly hijinks with all the subtlety of "Hee Haw".
